NEOCOSMO and Data One realize
new Social Intranet for Dataport

As early as March 2021, NEOCOSMO GmbH and its partner Data One GmbH were awarded the contract for the realization of the new social intranet of Dataport AöR after a public bidding competition. The new social intranet is currently under construction. It is to be available to the 4,000 employees at the beginning of 2022.

The NEOCOSMO platform PIIPE and the underlying open source CMS Drupal form the basis of the social intranet of the IT service provider. In combination with the latest SharePoint version from Microsoft, a total solution for internal communication, exchange and collaboration is implemented. NEOCOSMO is responsible for the customization, configuration and deployment of the software solution including mobile app. Data One is responsible for the change management accompanying the project. The intranet will be operated in Dataport’s data centers.

Dataport AöR is the IT service provider from the north for public administration in Germany. 4,300 employees work at six locations. Its sponsors are the states of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Schleswig-Holstein, as well as the municipal “IT-Verbund Schleswig-Holstein”.
