With its training and certification logic for employees, Bossard was faced with the challenge of finding a learning portal capable of handling its complex group structures. With NEOCOSMO and the PIIPE Learning product, the company found the right partner.
Employees worldwide learn everything about screws, fasteners and new technologies. Many of these contents must be trained at regular intervals according to compliance guidelines and corresponding knowledge checks must be successfully completed by the employees. For this purpose, the outdated predecessor system was replaced by PIIPE Learning, which offers greater user-friendliness and more diverse options for preparing the training content in an appealing and modern manner. It started with the subject area of engineering, but the platform is now expanded to include other internal training topics, such as electrical products, and is available in five languages.
In Bossard e-Learning, all Bossard employees are divided into different groups depending on their functional area. The scope of each group requires a different level of prior technological knowledge in order to ensure product quality and thus safety in the end use. Depending on the group, employees have to complete different levels (Basic, Advanced and Superior) of the e-learning offering and thus different chapters, modules and tests. Administrators gain insight into the status of their employees’ training via a variety of reports. After having successfully completed the levels, a corresponding certificate is automatically generated for the employee. At regular intervals, the test results are reset and have to be completed again by all employees to refresh what they have learned.
