As a managing director of NEOCOSMO GmbH, Dr. Volker Zimmermann is responsible for sales, customer service and project management. He studied Business Administration with a focus on Business Informatics and Human Resource Management at Saarland University and did his doctorate about Business Information Systems Management in Business Informatics. Since 1992 he has been working on innovative technologies for universities and educational institutions. His particular expertise is about Open Education, Content Creation, Learning and Talent Management, as well as Massive Open Online Courses. Volker Zimmermann has been involved in the definition of new research and technology programs in the field of digital learning for the Federal Ministry of Education and Research on several occasions. Furthermore, he has been working for the EU Commission in the field of „Technology-Enhanced Learning“. Among other things, he is currently member of the IT summit working group „Intelligent Educational Networks“ led by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.

As a Managing Director of NEOCOSMO GmbH, Frank Milius, business graduate with a focus on Business Informatics, is responsible for Innovation, Project and Product Development as well as Technology. He has been working with technology-based learning solutions for more than 20 years now. As a research assistant at the Institute of Information Systems at Saarland University, he designed and developed the first ‚multimedia‘ learning server in Germany in 1992: ‚Lehre 2000‘. From 1997 to 2014 he was managing director and later member of the board at IMC AG. Many software products created under his responsibility have won numerous national and international awards. Frank Milius has extensive expertise in learning management, authoring and performance support solutions.
